ANGIE’S PHILOSOPHY

We are living bodies with a tremendous capacity to heal. When provided with the proper guidance, movement modalities can truly help clients heal themselves and feel more in control of their health. My approach is to establish rapport with each client by listening, focusing on curious and meaningful inquiry, and observation of movements. This allows the development of an individualized progressive program to suit the client’s wants and needs.

Fun facts about Angie

What’s your favourite movie?

My first movie I ever saw at a theatre was The Sound of Music, and a year does not go by that I do not watch it with the same joy and sorrow. The music always brings a smile to my face and outbursts of singing!

What’s your favourite band?

INXS is near and dear to my heart. I had a crush on Michael Hutchence, and in my early 20’s, they warmed up prior to their official concert at one of the night clubs we frequented. We were front and centre, lucky for us we were at the right place at the right time, pure magic.

What’s your favourite sport?

I love all water/padding sports and of course Pilates to help keep my body strong.

What’s your favourite exercise?

I love the Pilates repertoire for both the equipment and mat. Each exercise flows into the other and as I get stronger I can progress the moves to varying difficulty, love them all.

What’s Your Favourite Book?

There are so many, my current favourite is Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.
