Gillian Pederson – Physiotherapist
Meet the team

Gillian Pederson
MScPT
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
I have always loved movement—from participating in many team sports to taking up individual activities such as running, and even teaching activities like swimming lessons. Part of my passion for these activities came from sharing them with others. I always knew I wanted to pursue a career that involved working with and helping people. However, I did not discover my interest in physical therapy until I took a sports injury and human anatomy course during my undergraduate studies. After discovering my interest in the human body, I changed my degree and completed an undergraduate program in Physical Education at the University of Alberta in Camrose. I then completed my Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta.
GILLIAN’S PHILOSOPHY
I believe the most effective treatments are those personalized to each individual. I aim to work collaboratively with my patients to identify what is important to them and choose interventions that will fit into their life. My goal is to support my patients by providing education, manual therapy, and exercises that help them achieve their personal goals
Let’s talk about your situation and needs.
